Wireless Sensing Platform
Project 1 establishes the foundation of Hybrid Futr’s embedded systems capability through the design and implementation of a wireless sensor node built on Nordic nRF52 microcontrollers.
The system is designed to:
- Sense real-world physical signals
- Process data locally at the edge
- Transmit data wirelessly via BLE
- Provide real-time visibility into physical environments
This project serves as a modular platform for future applications in infrastructure monitoring, environmental sensing, and intelligent automation.
Mission
To build a reliable, low-power, and extensible embedded sensing platform that bridges physical systems and digital insight.
Development Roadmap
Phase 1 — Core Node (Current)
- nRF52 + temperature + pressure
- BLE data transmission
- Mobile visualization
Phase 2 — Expanded Sensing
- Add additional sensors (humidity, flow, etc.)
- Improve data filtering and formatting
Phase 3 — Multi-Node System
- Multiple sensor nodes
- Coordinated data collection
- Gateway or aggregation layer
Phase 4 — Intelligent Monitoring
- Event detection and alerts
- Pattern recognition
- Integration with higher-level systems
Why
Modern systems increasingly rely on real-time awareness of physical environments.
This project demonstrates how compact embedded devices can:
- Digitize physical signals
- Enable remote visibility
- Serve as building blocks for smarter infrastructure
Project 1 represents the first step toward scalable cyber-physical systems under the Hybrid Futr vision.
